Veteran comedian Harland Williams has snagged a co-starring role on Package Deal, a new comedy series set to premiere Monday, Sept. 30 in Canada on the City network. The show centers around the relationship between Danny White (Randal Edwards) and his two older brothers, who seem to have a nearly sociopathic need to involve themselves in Danny’s life with his girlfriend (Julia Voth). Williams plays one of the meddling brothers– Sheldon, a meat salesman. Although Package Deal will not air in the States, it’s airing alongside most of the new comedies that were picked up this past pilot season in the U.S. Williams’ show shares a network with Super Fun Night (starring Rebel Wilson and produced by Conan O’Brien), Dads (from Seth MacFarlane), The Crazy Ones (Robin Williams) and more– in addition to returning series like Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls and New Girl.
