Before Jon Lajoie was well-known for playing Taco on FX hit series The League, he was writing incisively hilarious songs about pop culture and the absurdities of everyday life. The videos for those songs have racked him up tens-of-millions of views on YouTube and nearly a million subscribers. So, it’s no surprise his latest, a response to the mainstream’s reactions to Miley Cyrus’ performance at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, is already blowing up.

In the song, Lajoie calls out people for acting shocked that Cyrus would dare use sex to sell a performance on MTV. His point is driven perfectly by the song’s chorus:

We want topless women in our music videos
We want pop stars acting like they’re in a porno
You know we want it and we gettin’ what we ask for
But then when Miley does it we say, “Oh my God, no!”
