Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and ‘Community’ producer team up for NBC comedy

Adam Levine, best known for penning radio-friendly pop-rock songs, banging models and appearing as a “coach” on competition series The Voice, is now developing a comedy series for NBC. Along with longtime friend and former roommate Gene Hong — who worked on the most recent season of Community as a producer — Levine will help helm the semi-autobiographical single-camera show. Hong will write the pilot and executive produce along with Levine, who will also continue banging models.
