As the fourth season of Eastbound & Down is set to premiere Sept. 29 on HBO, the show’s star and producer Danny McBride is looking toward the future– and apparently that future stars Lindsay Lohan. McBride is developing a comedy series around the troubled star, according to TMZ, who reports McBride is working on a new show with producing partner Jody Hill. Lohan guest starred on the upcoming season of Eastbound & Down, and McBride reportedly was impressed with her skills. The new series would “revolve around a high school” and they want Lohan to star. The actress just completed a stint in rehab (again) and, if her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey is any indication, is working hard to patch up her image (again). Snagging a starring role on a show created by one of the most respected minds in the comedy world, would certainly help her do just that. But Lohan, 27, has proven a liability before, so I hope McBride has contingency plans in place if he does decide to cast her.
