Listen to Eddie Murphy’s new reggae song with Snoop Lion

Iconic comedian and one-time professional music dabbler is officially a musician– that is, if his new single “Red Light” is any indication. Featuring Snoop Lion, the song is a contemporary take on classic reggae supplemented with Snoop’s trademark easy-going vocals. The release of “Red Light” coincides with Murphy joining Twitter — you can follow him at @EddieMurhpy — and precedes the official video, set to be released Sept. 9 on Vevo; I guess this was the “unofficial” video. Murphy’s full-length album 9 will be released later this year. Check out the song below and tell us what you think.
