Fans of Artie Lange’s raw and honest New York Times 2008 bestseller, Too Fat to Fish will be happy to hear the former Howard Stern Show radio personality will release Crash and Burn, a memoir, on Oct. 29. The book, to be published by Touchstone, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, will include accounts of Lange’s near-fatal addictions to heroin and alcohol as well as his attempted suicide in January of 2010. Reports surfaced as early as June of 2011 that Lange was working on a new book. His first book remained on the New York Times top 10 list for 11 weeks. After being out of the spotlight following his suicide attempt, Lange is currently working on the The Artie Lange Show on the Audience Network for DirectTV as well as performing stand-up comedy all over the country.
