Rosie confirmed to Laughspin via Twitter that she’ll be touring Australia in February.

rosieAll of the great comedians who end up with a television or movie career always say that their love of stand-up never dies. It’s a skill that will always be there, regardless of how their career in Hollywood turns out. Rosie O’Donnell returned to the mic last night at Levity Live comedy club near her home in West Nyack, NY in front of a packed room. She worked out some new material in a guest spot on her talented friend Jessica Kirson‘s (seen right) headlining show.

It appears the former talk show host has plans for resurrecting her stand-up career after. Incidentally, she also made an appearance on last night’s episode of Impractical Jokers on TruTv.

According to an earlier tweet, O’Donnell has a live stand-up tour planned: “Gonna do 20 mins @LevityNyack on Thursday night – thanks to @JessicaKirson for letting me !! Getting geared up for my tour down under.” Might Australia get a taste of her new comedic stylings?
