The largest comedy festival in Europe is looking for fresh faces for this year’s shows. The Montreux Comedy Festival’s 2013 stand-up contest offers comedians a chance to win an entry to perform in Switzerland this year, roundtrip airfare, free meals and a free hotel room in Montreux. To participate, comics are asked to upload their best stand-up comedy video (no more than five minutes) and encourage friends to vote for your video. Finalists will be selected based on most votes and a panel of judges will select five winners from the finalists. Submit your best set on Dailymotion and then share the video with your friends to have them vote!

The Montreux Comedy Festival is open to legal residents of the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland who are at least 18 years of age at time of entry. The deadline to submit your video is Oct. 31, with voting ending Nov. 22. The festival runs from Dec. 4 to Dec. 10. Visit their website for more information about the festival.
