Tonight’s series premiere of The Michael J. Fox shows the levity of living with Parkinson’s

Michael J. Fox makes his return to NBC tonight with his brand-new comedy series, The Michael J. Fox Show! The Spin City actor’s new sitcom is based loosely upon his own real life situations and struggles. The show centers around Mike Henry (Fox), who has to give up his career as a news anchor after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Five years later, Mike decides to get abck to work and struggles between family and career. The new show, which premieres tonight at 9:00pm EST after Parks and Recreation, will show the hilarious ups and downs of living with Parkinson’s.
