What happens when one of today’s most powerful comedy filmmakers sits down to interview one of today’s most brilliant (and underrated) comedians about the 1990s? Well, for one, you find Judd Apatow and Maria Bamford examining Ben Affleck’s aging patterns. But you also see the goofy pair remember Tickle-Me Elmo and the Spice Girls. And you learn that Bamford would kill an old, slow dog and eat it if her life depended on it. You learn that you always send breasts to war zones and, as Bamford says, “Beauty can be frightening sometimes.” Check out the full video – part of Vanity Fair’s 100-year celebration — below!
