In what might be the furthest reaching comedy related benefit of 2013, comedians from around the globe are coming together on Nov. 6 for Comedy Gives Back, a 24-hour digital telethon.
Benefiting Malaria No More, comedians in New York (8 pm ET), Los Angeles (8 and 10 pm PT), London (10:15 pm GMT) and Sydney (7 pm AEDT on Nov. 7), will perform onstage with Dailymotion providing a live stream of all the action.
Comedians already scheduled to perform a total of 12 hours of stand-up include Greg Behrendt (pictured), Adam Bloom, Jim Breuer, Ronny Cheing, Dane Cook, Rhys Darby, Adam Hills, Marc Maron, Rove McManus, Eugene Mirman, and Kevin Nealon.
The second 12-hour block of entertainment will include video premieres and clips from the likes of IFC, Earwolf, Cracked.com and the Sideshow Network. Jimmy Kimmel, Kevin Pollak, Scott Aukerman and Comedy Bang Bang and Shira Lazar and What’s Trending are some of the talent slated to appear in live or taped segments.
