Who runs the world? Girls.

Or at least two particular ones. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host the next two years of the Golden Globes after their phenomenal job hosting this year’s award ceremony. When the Saturday Night Live alumni hosted the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, its broadcast spiked the biggest ratings that the ceremony had seen in six years. This year’s broadcast beat out the previous years of the Ricky Gervais-led Globes, which many critics attacked as “mean spirited.”

The duo also made an appearance at the Primetime Emmys this year, heckling advice to Neil Patrick Harris from the front row before they took the stage to present the evening’s first award. We’re certainly excited to see what these two amazing women do with the stage for the next two years!

But there’s need to wait for 2014 to see these two together. Go ahead and check out their opening monologue from 2013 below!
