Two days ago, just hours after finding out two of his best friends are dead — one due to an infection; the other from suicide — comedian Doug Stanhope sat down with with me in the green room at Levity Live comedy club in West Nyack, NY. Stanhope talks about what happened with his two friends, a married couple who lived next door to him in Bisbee, AZ. He also talks about his budding friendship with Marilyn Manson, the fallout he’s gotten from a Jake Lamotta bit on his new album Beer Hall Putsch and much more.

Go here to read about Stanhope’s live set he did after recording The Laughspin Podcast.
