New York-based stand-up comedian Dan St. Germain is set to write and star in an new comedy series at Fox. After starring in several hilarious and successful digital shorts and creating his own Web series, Kicking Dan Out, he’s teaming up with New Girl‘s Jake Johnson and Max Winkler to create the as-of-yet untitled series. St. Germain will star as Dustin, a guy who, after getting dumped, is distraught. To help him understand how he destroyed his relationship, he moves in with his ex and her current boyfriend.

St. Germain, who you may recognize from his recent Pulling Out video, has also had his own half-hour Comedy Central special and has made appearances on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Best Week Ever, and WTF with Marc Maron. We’ll be excited to see him in his own sitcom. Until then, look out for him in the animated web series In Security from Comedy Central Studios.
