Triumph the Insult Dog trounces the Great American Beer Festival for Conan O’Brien (Video)

Our favorite loud-mouthed puppet, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, went on the road for Conan recently and attended The Great American Beer Festival to demean as many independent beer craftsmen (and craftswomen) he could. Held in Denver, the festival features domestic brewers sampling over 2,000 American beers. It’s attended by tens-of-thousands of beer enthusiasts, or as Trimpuh calls the group, “Alcoholics conspicuous.”

Microbreweries are known for their imaginative and often ironic beer names. Triumph tried to give some better name suggestions. Luckily this dog doesn’t run his own brewery or else we might see bottles on our supermarket’s shelves like “All the Good Hobbies were Taken Lager,” “Gay After Three Beers Porter” and “By the End of the Night I’ll Say the N-word Lager.”

Watch this hilarious Conan segment as Triumph tears apart the microbrewing industry and the hipsters who tend to populate it!
