The Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America has announced the Lovable Queen of Mean, Lisa Lampanelli, as their National Ambassador of Hope. If you’ve been listening to the amazing Laughspin Podcast, then you’d know that Lampanelli is now a skinny bitch (Don’t get upset. She gave the name to herself in her new one-woman show called Skinny Bitch: NOT a Standup Comedy Show).

The comedienne, a frequent favorite on the Comedy Central roasts, underwent gastric sleeve surgery and lost over 100 lbs. In addition to serving as a spokesperson, she will also be the keynote speaker at the WLSFA’s annual fundraiser in April. “It was the best thing I could have ever done for myself,” she said. “I hope to bring awareness to an amazing organization that saves lives by providing grants to people who cannot afford this powerful leverage against morbid obesity.”
