Russell Brand is launching his own iPhone app where fans can ‘earn’ a one-on-one Skype chat with the comedian. The free app is a collaboration with other celebrities, such as Jamie Foxx and Charlie Sheen, and tech start-up TopFan. The Russell Brand app will be another interactive fan app from TopFan which allows athletes and celebrities to actively market to their fans. The app is free and keeps a person up to speed with their favorite celebrity’s social media profiles. Users of Brand’s new app will participate in interactive challenges that give fans points, which they can later trade in for autographs, merchandise, and even a live Skype chat with the comedian.

Brand fans have plenty to be updated with in regards to the Get Him to The Greek actor. Brand was just in the news this week over his controversial call for a change in the United Kingdom’s political process and attending the Million Mask March on Guy Fawkes Day.

The Jamie Foxx app is already available for iPhone, iPad, and Android. The Brand app is expected to follow in the near future. You can check in on its status at TopFan’s blog.
