Key & Peele fans should start getting excited: Universal Pictures has just made a deal with the sketch comedy duo to write and star in an untitled Judd Apatow movie. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele will co-write the comedy with the This is 40 filmmaker, who will also serve as producer. Apatow, whose Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues hits theaters on December 20, has not shared what the movie would be about but only said, “I love these guys because they are riotously, make-you-sick-because-you-can’t-stop-laughing funny.” Both actors previously appeared in Apatow’s Wanderlust. This would be their first starring film roles.
The news comes just after Comedy Central announced Key & Peele will return for a fourth season.
