For those of you looking forward to Ron Burgundy’s appearance as guest anchor on tonight’s SportCenter, I regret to inform you that he has been pulled from tonight’s broadcast. The Scotch-drinking news anchor was scheduled to guest host the show alongside pal Champ Kind (David Koechner). News regarding Florida State football player Jameis Winston’s rape allegations are expected to come in today and ESPN thought it best to let their own people handle the serious topic. The quarterback has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman in December 2012 but was never arrested. State Attorney Willie Meggs is holding a press conference on the incident today. No reports have been made if Burgundy’s appearance will be rescheduled or not.

Excited fans for Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues will have to see one of his other countless promotional appearances instead.
