We told you back in March that Amy Poehler was bringing a popular web series to Comedy Central. Well, now scenes from the upcoming Broad City are being released in preparation for the show’s Jan. 22 television premiere. The show’s creators, UCB alumni Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, play “two friends in New York City navigating their way through the minutiae that is life, making the smallest and mundane events strange and funny.” In this clip, the two try returning some electronics to get enough money for concert tickets, drinks and a little bit of weed. Check out their interaction with an unamused cashier, played by New York comedian Phoebe Robinson!

Broad City debuts on Comedy Central on Jan. 22 at 10:30 pm EST.
