David Spade is getting another go on the small screen. The Rules of Engagement star is in talks to bring an untitled comedy project to HBO which he will co-write and potentially star in. The show is about Shane, a former rock and roll manager in LA who has struggled as of late to stay relevant in a music industry dominated by techno and hip-hop. Now he’s signed a new pop Christian boy band The Five Commandments. Spade aims to star in the show but there is no deal for that yet. The Saturday Night Live alum recently shot his own Comedy Central stand-up special that will air next year.
