Judd Apatow is of course being honored for…costume design? Yes, you read right. The Anchorman 2 producer is being honored on Feb. 22 at the 16th Costume Designers Guild Awards with the Distinguished Collaborator honor. The CDG wanted to acknowledge his “support of costume design” in several of his projects. Apatow has worked with famed costume designers Leesa Evans (Bridesmaids), Jennifer Rogien (Girls) and Susan Matheson (Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues). Although the man himself is rarely dressed exceptionally, the award shows how he has a hand in every aspect of his films. This designation will probably give his wife, actress Leslie Mann, an excuse to force him into something nice the night of the ceremony.
