It seems Amy Schumer’s movie project with Judd Apatow is moving swimmingly along. Late last year, we got word she was co-writing and starring in a flick under the Apatow Productions banner, then casting began and today Universal Pictures announced an official release date for Trainwreck: July 24, 2015. So, yeah, we’ll still have to wait a long time until we see the rising comedian in her first starring film role.

But fear not. You can see Schumer this Sunday on the third season premiere of Girls on HBO and the second season of Inside Amy Schumer begins April 1 on Comedy Central. And you’ll be able to catch her live as she starts criss-crossing the nation on Jan 10 for the Inside Amy Schumer’s Back Door Tour. And you can listen to my interview with Amy on The Laughspin Podcast below! The point is, there’s plenty of ways to enjoy Amy’s loving comedy embrace before we see her on the big screen.
