Will Ferrell inks a deal with NBC

NBC continues to search for new long-term comedy solutions after the loss of 30 Rock Maybe Will Ferrell has the solution! The Peacock Network has ordered a comedy pilot from the comedy legend. The show, titled Mission Control, takes place in 1962 when a strong woman battles the ego of a macho astronaut in the midst of the space race. Think Anchorman, but at NASA. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia scribe David Hornsby will write the script. Ferrell and Adam McKay will produce.
