I know it’s been way too long since we’ve written anything about Anchorman 2. Well, you’re in luck! By now, we’re sure that you’ve seen the long-awaited sequel a dozen times. You might have even bought the $33 super-ticket, bought your favorite newscaster’s favorite brand of scotch, or played the best game on the Internet.. Well now, for one week only, you can see the R-rated version that writer-director Adam McKay intended for you to see.

Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues: Super Sized R Rated Version will hit theaters on Feb. 28. McKay had previously stated that they had so much footage from shooting that he could potentially release the same movie with entirely different jokes. What seemed like a potentially awesome DVD featurette is now a reality you can see on the big screen. This R rated version runs over 2 hours (the original clocked in at 1 hour, 59 minutes) and will have 763 jokes you didn’t see the first time. “If you’re a hardcore Anchorman fan go see this. If you’re not, stay far away,” McKay said.
