On the heels of a stellar third season of Keegan Michael-Key and Jordan Peele’s hit sketch comedy show, Comedy Central is wisely doubling down on the massively popular duo. The network announced today that they’re not only expanding Key & Peele’s already-announced fourth season order – 20 episodes plus two best-of episodes – but they’re also developing an animated series based on the duo’s “Vandaveon & Mike characters.”

In a series of increasingly popular YouTube videos, Key and Peele play Vandaveon and Mike, two wildly enthusiastic and equally ignorant wannabes who shoddily produce their own show called Critiquer’s Corner, wherein they tell the real Key and Peele how the Comedy Central show could be better. Pretty meta, right? The animated series, however, will reimagine the two characters as 12-year-old middle school hall monitors.
