Stand-up comedian and radio host Artie Lange has kidnapped shamed baseball legend Pete Rose! Oh no! Well, actually, Pete Rose is just fine. The only person who tied the retired Major League Baseball star was Lange’s cartoonist. A new video from Rug Burn’s YouTube page features the former Howard Stern Show co-host in cartoon form interviewing the former Cincinnati Red Rookie of the Year tied up “against his will” to talk about his glory gambling days in the MLB.
Pete Rose, if you’re not aware, was a three-time World Series MVP from 1963-86 and then managed a team through 1989. He was declared permanently ineligible from baseball after being accused of gambling on baseball games while playing and managing the Reds. Rose later publicly admitted to the foul deeds in 2004. And Artie Lange is no stranger to sports betting, as he casually recalls big bets on the air and while on stage. Check out the video below hearing Pete Rose recall surprise groupies and a fellow player’s 20-inch turd.
