Natasha Lyonne as Nicky in Orange is the New Black on NetflixOrange is the New Black is one of the few shows that deserve the hype it has received ever since it debuted last July on Netflix. Based on Piper Kerman’s memoir, Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison, the series pretty much has it all: amazingly complex characters, twisty-turny plotlines, drama, outstanding performances and, of course, comedy.

Taylor Schilling plays Piper Kerman, the pretty blonde suburbanite whose past as a drugrunner for her dealer girlfriend, Alex (Laura Prepon) catches up with her and, during her engagement to her fiancé, Larry (Jason Biggs) gets thrown in a federal prison for women for 15 months. And today, Netflix finally released the first official trailer for season 2!

It seems all of our favorite characters are back. Suzanne, aka “Crazy Eyes” makes friends (or more?) with a new inmate (who just happens to be Red’s old enemy), Lorna Morello wears a dress (for her upcoming nuptials?), former druggie Nicky (Natasha Lyonne) tokes up (oh no, a relapse?) and Piper, it seems, is tough as nails now. We don’t get to see who’s she addressing in the trailer, but at one point she has this to say: “I am a lone wolf, and a vicious one. Don’t make me rip your throat out.”

This all amounts to us binge-watching Orange is the New Black on June 6 when it returns to Netflix. Check out the full trailer below!
