Patrick Stewart Starz Blunt TalkSeth MacFarlane has sold yet another comedy idea. Starz has ordered two seasons of Blunt Talk from the Family Guy creator. The show will be penned by Jonathan Ames (Bored to Death) and star X-Men‘s Patrick Stewart. Stewart will play a British newscaster who comes to America to conquer cable news. The unusual two-season commitment from Starz orders 20 episodes. In addition to his hit series Family Guy and American Dad, MacFarlane will premiere Bordertown on Fox this fall after receiving the greenlight in November. He’s also the co-producer of another smash hit on Fox, Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson.

His upcoming comedy movie A Million Ways to Die in the West, starring Charlize Theron and Sarah Silverman, is projected to gross over $100 million in domestic box office. He’s also in pre-production on Ted 2 starring Amanda Seyfried. Blunt Talk is expected on Starz some time in 2015.
