It’s official. Disney Channel’s sequel series Girl Meets World will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 9:45pm EST. The Boy Meets World spin-off follows Riley Matthews, the tween daughter of Cory and Topanga Matthews long after they’ve left Pennbrook University. Disney announced last year that they had cast Rowan Blanchard as the titular “Girl” and excitement has been growing every since. The classic ABC sitcom ran from 1993-2000 and last left off with Cory and Topanga taking off for New York City, leaving the comfortable world of suburban Philadelphia behind them. Disney’s new Girl Meets World trailer reveals Cory is one of his daughter’s teachers at school and gives a peek at the younger ‘comedy relief’ child Auggie.

Returning from Boy Meets World are best friend Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong), octogenarian mentor George Feeny (William Daniels), Topanga’s academic rival Stuart Minkus (Lee Norris), and badass bully with a heart of gold “Harley” Keiner (Danny McNulty) who now works as the janitor at Riley’s school. And yes, with the return of Will Friedle as older brother Eric, there is a high probability we’ll witness the return of The Feeny Call.
