Russell Crowe’s reply proved he also has a sense of humor.

According to Vanity Fair, Russell Crowe and Ricky Gervais’ tweets got a lot more scandalous as the night went on. At one point, Gervais tweeted an up-close, blurry photo of the twosome, which he subsequently deleted. Crowe then responded with the quip, “@rickygervais see…that photo right there…the difference between TV and Cinema.”
Unsurprisingly, Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe have deleted most of the controversial quotes from their drunken adventure. But they still live on thanks to the wonders of the Internet. Later in the evening, Gervais supposedly wrote, “I am so drunk, you c–t! (I will delete this tweet very soon)” before making good on his Twitter promise. And at the end of the night, the comedian concluded, “I honestly haven’t been this drunk for ages. @russellcrowe is a f–king terrible influence. Not just on me, but on the world.”
But while Ricky Gervais and Russell Crowe deleted most of the evidence of their boozy exploits, the comedian did post the below tweet on Monday to prove that it was all real.
