Comedy Central’s stellar stand-up comedy series The Half-Hour kick off its third season Friday, June 6 at midnight ET with back-to-back comedy specials from comedians Chris Distefano and Michael Che. The quickly-rising Distefano appears on MTV and MTV2’s Guy Code, Girl Code and Off the Bat from the MLB Fan Cave (among other shows) and Che, a writer on Saturday Night Live, was recently announced as the newest correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
Filmed at the Royale in Boston, two new episodes of The Half-Hour will premiere every Friday on Comedy Central starting at midnight and will also feature Joe Zimmerman, Joe Wengert, Yannis Pappas, Chris Gethard, Ron Funches, Rachel Feinstein, Fortune Feimster, Adam Newman, Damien Lemon, Mark Normand, Kurt Braunohler and Tommy Johnagin. Each episode will be simultaneously broadcast on Comedy Central Radio – SiriusXM Channel 95 – and will be available the day after on the Comedy Central App. Viewers will also be able to access new episodes of The Half-Hour two days after premieres on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Verizon Flexview, Vudu, Xbox and the Sony Entertainment Network.
