Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are hosting a sausage fest in two years– and everyone’s invited! Rogen and Goldberg’s latest movie Sausage Party will hit theaters on June 3, 2016. The brain children behind Superbad and This Is The End have brought on some of the top names in comedy for their animated adult comedy about “one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence.” The main character sausage falls out of a shopping cart and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the big Fourth of July sale. The story was thought of by Rogen, Goldberg and pal Jonah Hill.

Then the Canadian comedy stars wrote a script with the help of Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir. Sausage Party‘s voice over cast is insane. In addition to Rogen and Hill, there’s Kristen Wiig, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton, David Krumholtz, Nick Kroll, Michael Cera, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Bill Hader, Anders Holm, Paul Rudd, and Danny McBride! Time to see if Rogen and Goldberg’s comedy translates to animation but you now have a date to save in your calendars. Whenever they start releasing 2016 kitten calendars.
