Chris Paul may be a supestar NBA player but, just like any other ‘90s kid, he grew up watching Saved By The Bell. So when his 29th birthday rolled around last month, star Tiffani Thiessen knew just what to get him. The actress sent Paul an autographed Kelly Kapowski poster, which the Los Angeles Clippers guard shared on Instagram Tuesday.
“This is easily one of the best Bday gifts I’ve ever received in my 29yrs on this Earth!!! #KellyKapowski#My1stLove #WeWereTogether #SheJustDidntKnowIt#CuzImSavedByTheBell,” Chris Paul captioned the Tiffani Thiessen photo.
Even better, the Tiffani Thiessen autograph was a current one, as she did not include her middle name “Amber,”
Tiffani Thiessen then retweeted Paul’s post, proving that the autographed photo in question was real. The former Kelly Kapowski also replied to the superstar, “I’m blushing. Hope you have an amazing birthday.”which was part of her moniker during the Saved By The Bell years.
Of course, Chris Paul is just one of many young men who had a crush on Kelly Kapowski growing up. As Yahoo Sports noted, fellow NBA superstar LeBron James also admitted loving Tiffani Thiessen as a youngster.

So it’s not surprising that some were jealous of Chris Paul after he received this Tiffani Thiessen photo. Former tennis pro and current Fox Sports host Andy Roddick got particularly upset, posting the below tweet.

And all of a sudden, it was like Andy Roddick and Chris Paul were back in high school again, arguing over who would get to date the head cheerleader.
@andyroddick not a chance! haaaaaa

So what did Tiffani Thiessen think about all this? The former Kelly Kapowski was just glad to see men fighting over her once again.

On Wednesday, just as Chris Paul’s post about the Kelly Kapowski photo was going viral, the guard was named to the first-team All-NBA squad. But thanks to Tiffani Thiessen, this honor was only the second-best thing to happen to him this week.
