Before he was the king of comedy movies, Judd Apatow was a comedy connoisseur. The Anchorman producer, who used to interview famous comedians for his high school radio station, will release a compilation book through Random House featuring interviews he’s conducted over the last 30 years. Stick in the Head will boast conversation transcriptions between Apatow and comedy icons like Mel Brooks, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Lena Dunham (whose HBO show Girls he executive produces), Jay Leno, Amy Schumer and more. Consisting of about 25 interviews, Stick in the Head will go to show Apatow’s love of comedy, both as a creator and audience member. Proceeds from the book will go to 826LA, a nonprofit organization that teaches creative writing to students between the ages of 6 and 18. It is expected to hit book stores in 2015.
