Frozen and Orange is the New Black video mashupSince the release of Disney’s Frozen last year, the Internet has been drenched in parodies of Idina Menzel’s “Let it Go,” other alternative musical genre takes on the movie’s soundtrack and creative video mashups. But seven months after Frozen’s debut in theaters, it seems there’s more to mine from the animated blockbuster. Enter animator Leigh Lahav, who just released a mashup of Disney’s Frozen and Netflix’s wildly popular prison series Orange is the New Black. With a following of nearly 90,000 on YouTube her Frozen is the New Black has garnered more than 281,000 views in one day– and for good reason. This video is hilarious and going viral fast.

The mashup, of course, stars Elsa, the ice queen, who’s been sentenced to a woman’s prison for crimes against the kingdom of Arendelle. But she’s not the only princess gone bad. In the video you’ll see Ariel, Pocahontas, Merida, Mulan, Show White, Rapunzel, Belle and more. Check it out!

While many of her past videos have performed amazingly well – check out The Trial of Tyrion Lannister, Sherlock Spoils Everything and Thorested Development – Leigh Lahav’s Frozen is the New Black video is set to become a viral smash hit. After doing some very rough addition and division, we’ve established that one of Lahav’s a normal well performing videos averages about 5,500 views each day. The point is, the joint blowing up! Any fan of Frozen or Orange is the New Black or animation can’t deny how well done this is.
