Billy On The Street host Billy Eichner is an improviser, actor, TV host and sass mouth. Now the potentially new USA Network star will now add author to his already long and varied resume. The Emmy-nominated comedian has signed a deal to write a book about Hollywood and pop culture. No title or release date has been announced by Hachette Book Group USA, who will publish the book. Eichner is known for making his opinion very well heard and now we will get a chance to read what he has to say about our favorite celebrities. “I’m very excited to start writing,” the Upright Citizens Brigade alumnus said. “I can assure my fans they will love the book more than Shailene Woodley loves Tom’s of Maine. This book is for anyone obsessed with show business, pop culture, social media and lots of other fun topics that fill our days.” The Parks & Recreation guest star hopes to distract readers as they “hurtle helplessly toward accidents, illness, infidelity and death.”

Eichner continues to stack his plate. Already hosting his Funny or Die-produced street game show for three seasons on the Fuse Network, he recently sold his pilot Difficult People to the USA Network with the help of executive producer and friend Amy Poehler. Co-starring and co-writing with Julie Klausner, the two would play pop culture-obsessed best friends trying to make it as stand-up comedians in New York City.
