The New York Comedy Festival, in association with Comedy Central, has announced its star-studded line-up for this year’s festival. Comedy favorites Marc Maron, Amy Schumer & Maria Bamford share the bill with legendary stand-up comedian Bill Cosby (whose new NBC sitcom recently finalized negotiations). The 11th annual New York Comedy Festival features some of comedy’s biggest stars in New York City’s greatest venues. The event will bring over 200 comedians to over 60 shows throughout the city from Nov. 5 – 9. “We are thrilled to announce the exceptional line-up of comedians to this year’s festival,” said NYCF founder Caroline Hirsch, who also owns Carolines on Broadway. “Throughout the past ten years the festival has helped to establish a platform for emerging and renowned talent. As the festival enters its next decade, we are excited to continue showcasing great comedic talents, and as always, bringing a lot of laughs to New York City!”
Bill Cosby will play the famous Carnegie Hall on Nov. 8 at 8pm. Other headliners that week include Hannibal Buress, Tig Notaro, Chris D’Elia, Bill Maher and MTV’s Girl Code stars Carly Aquilino and Jessimae Peluso.
