Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan reunited with her on-screen teacher Tina Fey. Lohan posted a photo of her encounter on Instagram on Tuesday, but it’s been deleted from Lohan’s account. Apparently the photo was taken during a shoot for Entertainment Weekly, which hits stands in October. Lohan was The focus of the OWN documentery series Lindsay was in New York for rehearsals for her stage debut in the West End production of David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow in London next month. Fey, whose Cabot College pilot was passed on by Fox, is working on several projects. One of which is a midseason series for NBC called Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
Lindsay Lohan looks healthy with the Mean Girls writer and co-star. Mean Girls happened 10 years ago, just before DUIs and stints in rehab made her a source of negative media attention. Fey even attempted one of the first interventions with friend and The Nest co-star Amy Poehler for the actress back in 2005. “Amy was good and tough on her saying, ‘You’re too skinny…I’m not going to ask yo uwhy, but you’re too skinny and I don’t like it,'” she recalls. Lohan remembers the confrontation right before hosting Saturdya Night Live. “They sat me down…and they sais, ‘You need to take care of yourself. We care about you too much, and we’ve seen too many people do this,’ and I just started bawling. I knew I had a problem and I couldn’t admit it.” Hopefully the former SNL comedian sat her down again for another one-on-one counseling session.
