Breaking Bad spin-off prequel Better Call Saul hasn’t even aired its first episode and already AMC has ordered a second season of the Bob Odenkirk-led comedy. There has been a lot of hype about the series which will follow Odenkirk’s shady lawyer character Saul Goodman before he ever met the infamous Heisenberg. The first season of Better Call Saul will span 10 episodes and the second season pick-up calls for 13 episodes next year. AMC moved the series back from a November premiere to an early 2015 launch. “When introducing any series, especially one with the DNA of Breaking Bad, there are countless factors to consider in making sure the show gets the launch it deserves,” said AMC president Charlie Collier. “We have a strong history with Vince, Peter, Bob, the studio…and all share a focus on making it a true television event.” Check out Odenkirk as Goodman on set with showrunner Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, creator of his character.
