Despite not having a world to return to, David Cross’s Todd Margaret will return to IFC in 2015. The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret ended its second season in 2012 averaging 1.6 million viewers. The world blows up at the end of season two after Todd Margaret (Cross) goes through a very stressful court case. IFC president Jennifer Caserta said, “Perhaps it was a poor decision for Todd to end the world, but working with David to bring this series back is a great decision for the fans. We look forward to welcoming Todd Margaret and whoever else survived the apocalyptic blast back to IFC in 2015.” The first two seasons are available on Netflix, for those not yet acquainted with the accidental marketing head honcho whose life unravels into a series of unfortunate events. The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret will join Portlandia, Maron, Comedy Bang! Bang! and The Spoils of Babylon follow-up The Spoils Before Dying on the network’s roster next year.

I am for this idea. Any David Cross project I’ll probably end up watching.
