Jerry Seinfeld confirms ‘Seinfeld’ reunion

You may remember Jerry Seinfeld’s epic AMA on Reddit earlier this month where he revealed that he and Larry David were working on something “gigantic.” Speculation has stirred ever since about what the project could be, although he has said that it wasn’t related to his Web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee (which recently surpassed 25 million streams). More questions began to swirl when he announced that he and Larry David are working on a stage show. Then he was recently photographed with Jason Alexander filming something outside of the famed Seinfeld diner.

Well, more clues have been revealed. The modern-day comedy legend appeared on the Boomer & Carton radio show on WFAN and admitted that he and Alexander were reprising their old Seinfeld roles. Other characters from the hit NBC sitcom will be involved as well. He was pretty tight-lipped about the project, although his lips continue to get looser and looser each week, but he did describe it as “short-ish form” and a “one-and-done” thing. Is it a sketch? A short film? What could it be? He said it is not a commercial. Whatever it is, we’ll get to enjoy it soon enough. The comedian said that “it” will be made available “very, very soon.” Maybe for just $5?

So was this the CICGC thing from the Superbowl and the comment about it not being related a red herring or what?
