Mike BirbigliaMike Birbiglia’s having much, much better luck onstage than the folks behind Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.

The word from Playbill today is that Birbiglia’s new comedy, My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, written and starring the man himself, will be extended Off-Broadway at the Barrow Street Theater through June 25. After that, it’s off to an international tour.

It’s been nominated for quite a few awards, so if it ends up coming to a theater near you, go out and see it! Bono may not be involved, but you’ll have a laugh anyway.
