They say that a difficult, tumultuous life is prime fuel for comedy. If that’s the case, then Mike DeStefano has more than enough to last a lifetime.

Drawing on a rough past that includes drug addiction, the loss of his wife, and an HIV diagnosis, DeStefano will move from his successful venture on NBC’s Last Comic Standing to a new one man show called Drugs, Disease and Death: A Comedy.

Though the subject matter is heavy (to say the very least), it may be perfect for DeStefano’s raw style.

The show debuts on Feb. 7 at the Producer’s Club Theater in New York City, so you have three weeks to prepare yourself for some intense, emotional comedy. Buy your tickets here!

Mike is a fantastic comic. I guess I identify with some of his comedy because I am a recovering addict also. I have seen him when he came to West Palm Beach and would go see him again anytime he is in this area. Good luck Mike you are great. Thanks for all the laughs. They go a long way.
