daniel2Comedian Daniel Tosh has become quite the hit with the folks at Comedy Central. Tosh.0, his Talk Soup-esque series with a web-centric twist has just been renewed for a third season with new executive producer Charlie Siskel. The show has consistently gotten good numbers, and has also struck a chord on the web through Twitter, Facebook and the “Tosh.0” blog.

“I haven’t seen the show yet, but I understand Daniel is very funny,” said Kent Alterman, head of original programming and production for Comedy Central. “I would like to publicly thank him for making me look smart.”

“I am beyond thrilled about Season Three of ‘Tosh.0,'” said Tosh. “COMEDY CENTRAL has been like a father to me; they pretend to support my comedy and I am pretty sure they have slept with my mom.”

The third season of “Tosh.0″ will premiere on Wednesday, January 12 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT.
