Comedian Andy Daly has the ability to morph into a myriad of characters on stage and off. He also has the ability to make CarMax commercials entertaining—not an easy feat. Daly’s latest foray into pitchman territory, however, may be his most challenging yet.

Laphroaig has enlisted the veteran comic to stand up for their Single Malt Scotch Whisky — and quite literally he’s standing up for it — for three-and-a-half hours. To be more accurate Andy Daly filibusters. Laphroaig, who clearly has a great sense of humor, harnessed the attention this never-ending election cycle begs and used it for good.

“With Nov. 8 just around the corner, Americans across the nation are engaged in heated debates sparred over differing opinions. While politicians argue about policy and experience, Laphroaig Single Malt Scotch Whisky is shining light on another passionate debate that has been gripping the country for years: is our scotch a peaty, smoky delight, or does it smell like a burning hospital?” Laphroaig’s just released statement reads. “At Laphroaig we welcome all opinions on our whisky – good, bad and confused. Over the past three years we have asked fans and foes alike to exercise their right to state their opinion on our scotch, and thousands have done so, from New Hampshire to Florida and everywhere in between. Now it’s time for their voices to be heard and there is one avid fan willing to put it all on the line to ensure every last opinion is submitted into the debate.”

Enter: Andy Daly armed with thousands of real opinions from consumers who shared their thoughts during Laphroaig’s #OpinionsWelcome campaign. The below video shows the entire three-and-a-half hour filibuster, which was filmed in one take. Enjoy!
